First visit Evaluation
A comprehensive, runner-specific evaluation designed to understand how you move, where you're starting, and what you need to reach your goals.
Your first visit includes:
- Running history & goals — We’ll discuss your running background, current training, past injuries, and what you want to accomplish.
- Running-specific movement screening — Assess mobility, strength, balance, and movement patterns that may be affecting your running.
- Loading assessment — Evaluate how your body handles and responds to the demands of running.
- Identify contributing factors — Look beyond the location of pain to determine the factors that may be contributing to an injury or limiting performance.
- Individualized plan of care — Together, we'll determine the most appropriate approach to help you reduce pain, improve running efficiency, optimize performance, and reduce your risk of future injury.
The goal isn't simply to treat where it hurts—it's to understand why it's happening and create a plan to help you run better for the long haul.
